At Mama & Harlem Co., giving back isn’t an afterthought—it’s part of the soil this brand was planted in.

Before I ever received support from Mamas for Mamas, I showed up to volunteer. I was at one of the lowest points in my life—financially, emotionally, spiritually. But I still felt called to give. I didn’t have much, but I had time, heart, and a desire to be of service to other women who were struggling, just like me.

They wrapped me in the same compassion I had tried to offer others. They provided emotional support, and reminded me that motherhood doesn’t have to be walked alone. It was a full-circle moment—one that shifted how I see community, generosity, and what it means to truly receive.

Today, I continue to volunteer and give back in every way I can—because I know what it feels like on both sides. And I believe that reciprocity is one of the most sacred forms of love.

Mamas for Mamas is a national charitable organization that supports mothers and caregivers facing poverty, violence, mental health challenges, and housing insecurity. They offer wraparound care—practical and emotional—to help families not only survive but thrive.

Through Mama & Harlem Co., a portion of proceeds from select offerings go directly to Mamas for Mamas, and we’re building out more ways to partner through campaigns, care kits, and community drives.

This isn’t just a cause we support—it’s a lifeline we’ve lived.
